“Topkapi Palace”, First Courtyard, Sultanahmet/Istanbul
We hear the atmosphere around the first courtyard of the “Topkapi Palace” in Istanbul. Beside a lot of visitors we here the birds and later on the singing muezzin of the third prayer of the day. There are a number of mosques around alternate in transmitting the muezzins voice of the district of Sultanahmet. One of them is the very close located famous blue mosque.
While this is a artificial head recording with excellent acoustical ranging i added a compass indicating the recording direction of the artificial head recording (215° SSW).
